Today is the first day of the national Smoking ban! I for one am very happy that the government has decided to do this. It means that I can go to the pub without having to take athsma medication for 3 days afterwards!
Some people say that this is just "big brother", and I say to them "have you even READ 1984?" To which they usually answer negitory. Most stupid people use the 1984 phrase as it makes them feel clever, but has little to do with the story.
I hate smoking and am glad that it has been banned.
